Positive Energy has been a family-owned and operated cannabis dispensary in Ocean City since 2016. As the first dispensary in Ocean City, it's built its reputation on delivering good vibes, weeding out the bad ones, and becoming a favorite among locals.
What started as a desire to help their grandfather, who had been battling with Parkinson’s disease for the past 30 years, experience a better quality of life quickly grew into a passionate mission to share the therapeutic benefits of the miraculous plant with all of Maryland.
In 2014, Maryland became the 21st state to legalize medical cannabis and the 18th state to decriminalize cannabis possession. Longtime business owners Denise and Matt took interest in opening a shop shortly after House Bill 881 was passed into law. Soon after that, their daughter, Lyndsey, rose to the challenge of turning their dream into a reality, working with her parents to open the doors of Positive Energy to the public. Today, Positive Energy stands as one of the best places to get cannabis while supporting women-owned businesses in Maryland.
